A Message from Jim Conlon, President

I am pleased to report that the Genealogy Club is not only alive and well after last year's reorganization, but may have grown stronger in the process. Clearly, the numbers attending monthly meetings grew, as did participation in the Workshop sessions. The informality of the workshop approach lends itself to a sharing/learning experience where new members as well as seasoned genealogists engage in fascinating discussions.

This year we will continue with Open Workshop meetings and encourage newcomers to attend. Topics for workshops are offered as guides, not to set limits on discussions. Indeed, be assured that conducting Workshop meetings does not preclude the possibility of inviting good speakers, and we welcome your suggestions. Finally, as you may know, we serve refreshments at all meetings.

Officers:
President James Conlon
First Vice President Carmen Collins
Second Vice President Vivian Hight
Treasurer Sylvia Taylor
Corresponding Secretary Rita Halpin
